Effect of position on incidence of post-dural puncture headache in patients undergoing caesarean section: A comparative study

Background: Postdural puncture headache (PDPH) is an expected complication after lumbar (LP). Spinal anaesthesia (SA) given to a patient in lateral decubitus or the sitting position. Our aim compare incidence of PDPH between and position among patients scheduled for LSCS. Methods: This kind comparative study done on 200 pregnant women elective lower segment caesarean section at our tertiary care centre named NRI Institute Medical Sciences, Chinakakani Andhra Pradesh, India. Patients were randomized into two groups as per used spinal anaesthesia. Group S(sitting) included 100 group D (lateral decubitus) patients. Results: There no significant difference mean age, BMI ASA grade both groups.
